Nari Jibon: Women's Lives
Providing skills, not handouts, for Bangladeshi women and girls.
Nari Jibon Project, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a training program for Bangladeshi women and girls who wish to upgrade their skills and transform their lives. Founded in 2005, the program has seen nearly 1,000 women and girls pass through and gain valuable skills in computers, English and Bangla literacy, and tailoring. Many of these women-beneficiaries have gone on to receive promotions, pay raises, better job offers, and higher exam scores and degrees, as well as start their own businesses.
Please take a moment to learn about the project, and make a donation and/or volunteer your time. We depend on donor support to provide these valuable services.
